MAGELLAN Novelization Cover Reveal

Author/Screenwriter Scott Baird has been hard at work and the novel is currently going through final revisions, but we thought it'd be fun to share with you an excerpt from the novel. WARNING: May contain mild spoilers!

Hi Everyone,

No movie would be complete without an awesome song in the credits (or in the movie itself).   And we got one! We're excited to have Magellan feature the song Mars by VanLadyLove.

VanLadyLove hails from Provo Utah, home of bands such as Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons, The Moth & The Flame, Fictionist, and others.  

They released their debut album, Love Matter, in February of 2014, and the band quickly charted on iTunes.  The album was selected for VH1’s “Staff Picks of 2014” and the band won “#1 Artist on the Verge 2014” award from the New Music Seminar in New York City.

VanLadyLove released their second EP, Alive, earlier this year. Take a listen here:

Yesterday MAGELLAN had another great day on Kickstarter, passing 750 Backers and reaching nearly halfway to our new stretch goal!  We are so grateful for the enthusiasm you've shown towards our film and we can't wait to share it with you.
